About the teachers:
Rabbi Daniel Freitag
Rabbi Daniel Freitag
is the Director of Programming for the Kollel Dome in Dunwoody. Rabbi Freitag's lectures and classes cover awide range of Jewish topics ranging from contemporary issues and pop culture to Jewish philosophy and practice. Shabbat beginner services in his role as 'The Unintimidator' have a large following as well. Rabbi Freitag's activities include all aspects of Kollel Dome programming as well as numerous home groups and other unique study programs. Rabbi Freitag is a recovering Yankee fan. He enjoys cholentmaking, anti-missionary work,and premium orange juice.
Rabbi Binyomin Friedman
Rabbi Binyomin Friedman

teaches many lively Lunchand Learns at a variety oflocations around Atlanta, as well as evening classes in the Kollel Dome. One of the original founders of ASK, the Friedmans arrived in Atlanta in 1987. In 1994 a group of ASK students from Dunwoody asked Rabbi Friedman to become the Rabbi of the newly formed Congregation Ariel in Dunwoody, a position he holds until this day. Rabbi Friedman is a native of Minneapolis, MN and he refuses to wear a winter coat in Atlanta.
Class Information:

Classes are held on Wednesday evenings at the Kollel Dome – 5237 Tilly Mill Rd., Dunwoody.

Classes run from 7:00-9:00 p.m. Each session consists of two 50-minute classes with a break between the two.

Each semester of The Kollel Institute is approximately 7 weeks in length.

2009 Classes begin Wednesday October 14, 2009

Registration Information:

Yearly Tuition:
$150 for one year (three semesters).
$50 non-refundable registration fee
(Applied toward tuition when you pay remainder)
Registrants are not committed to the entire 3-year program when enrolling. Call for information on scholarships.

$200 for two attendees registering together.
Any two people who register together are eligible for the special rate. The two need not be spouses or relatives. Just get a friend to join up with you, and you both get the special rate – you both pay only $100 each!
Make sure to indicate that you are applying for the special rate when registering and write in the name of the person who is co-registering. The second person must also send in a separate registration form.
